Launch your first tournament
Use the admin pages in this order to get from a new tournament to a published event.
Quick answer
Open Settings and complete General Details and Match Days. Then add Pitches & Locations, set Divisions / Categories, add teams on Teams, create fixtures in Scheduling, and finish by clicking Publish Tournament.
Before you start

Settings: General Details
- Open the tournament in admin.
- Click Settings.
- In General Details, enter the tournament name.
- Check the slug if you need the public link to look a certain way.
- Click Save Details.

Use the overview page to check the event details before you start sharing the tournament.
Settings: Match Days
- Stay on Settings and go to Match Days.
- Add each tournament day using Add Day.
- Check the date is correct before you save it.
Settings: Pitches & Locations
- On Settings, go to Pitches & Locations.
- Add every pitch or playing area you will use.
- Give each pitch a clear name, for example Pitch 1 or 3G A.
- Choose the correct size if the page asks for it.
Settings: Divisions / Categories
- Still on Settings, open Divisions / Categories.
- Add each age group you need.
- Add the divisions or categories inside each age group.
- Check the names make sense on the public page.
Teams
- Click Teams.
- Add or import the teams into the correct age group and division.
- Check the spelling of each club and team name.
- Check the contact details if you are collecting them.
- Save the team list.
Format
- Click Format.
- Open Structure if you need to build or change the tournament format.
- Open Pitches if you still need to adjust the pitch list there.
- Check that the structure matches the tournament you want to run before you create fixtures.
Scheduling
- Click Scheduling.
- Create the fixtures using the schedule builder or by adding matches by hand.
- Check that every match has a time and a pitch.
- Check that teams are not playing too many matches back to back.
- Click Save.
Publish Tournament
- Open View Public Page from Settings and check the public pages.
- Check fixtures, results, and standings on your phone as well as your computer.
- Go back to Settings.
- Click Publish Tournament only when the public pages are ready to share.
